Kung Fu for the Disabled |
|
"Anything is possible in our world" |
| Welcome to Hull Kung Fu Martial Arts Club, my name is Mitch Gooch and I am a wheelcxhair user who studies the art of Kung Fu. Many people ask, how do you do it (martial arts) in a wheelchair. My answer is this:- In the art i have studied every block, strike, and whether a punch or kick is adaptable. There is always a way around any attack, be it a kick to the stomach or a strike to the face. You will know if you do not move out of the way when attacked then you will get hit or if you miss when blocking a strike and it catches its intended target it will hurt. |
| At this club we will teach you, if you wish to be taught, how to do a lot of things you never thought possible from the confides of a chair. |
| Come down and try. Shaolin Chuan Fa Kung Fu is a gentle art that is adaptable to everyone's needs. |
