Trampoline

Trampolining is a competitive sport in which gymnasts perform acrobatics while bouncing on a trampoline. These can include simple jumps in the pike, tuck or straddle position to more complex combinations of forward or backward somersaults and twists.

There are two related competitive rebound sports, synchronized trampoline and double mini-trampoline.

Artistic Gymnastics

Artistic gymnastics is a discipline of gymnastics. Competitive gymnasts perform short routines (ranging from approximately 30 to 90 seconds) on different apparatus, with less time for vaulting (balance beam, floor, high bar, parallel bars, pommel horse, still rings, uneven bars, vault). Artistic gymnastics has become a popular spectator sport at the Summer Olympic Games, and in numerous other competitive environments. The related discipline of general gymnastics is geared more towards participation for fun and fitness, rather than competition, and attracts a respectable number of participants including retired gymnasts.

Majorette

A Majorette is a girl or woman doing choreographed dance or movement, primarily baton twirling associated with marching bands during parades. It derives from girls', in the late 1800s and early 1900s, involvement in drill and gymnastic teams or groups that used apparatuses similar to those found in rhythmic gymnastics. Majorettes can also twirl knives, fire knives, flags, light-up batons, and fire batons. They do illusions, cartwheels, and back flips, and sometimes twirl up to four batons at a time.

Juggling

Toss juggling is the form of juggling which is most recognisable as 'juggling'. Toss juggling is at once: a performance art, a sport, a form of exercise and meditation, a recreational pursuit, and often simply child's play.

In toss juggling, objects — such as balls, bean bags, fruit, clubs, etc. — are thrown or tossed into the air and caught. Multiple objects may be thrown in succession, so that at a given point, some are in the air, going up, some are falling back towards the juggler's hands, some are being caught and some are being thrown. Technically, toss juggling is a form of object manipulation.

Sports Acrobatics

Acrobatic gymnastics (sometimes called Acro-Airs or Sport Gymnastics) is a competitive sport involving gymnastics and acrobatics that is choreographed and rated by judges. There are five types of events (women's and men's pairs, women's and men's group, involving three and four partners respectively, and mixed pairs). The sport combines dance, tumbling and partnering skills that involves dynamic (aerial) and balance (posed) movements.

Tricking

Tricking (martial arts tricking) is the informal name of a relatively new underground alternative sport movement, combining martial arts, gymnastics, breakdancing and other activities to create an "aesthetic blend of flips, kicks, and twists." Tricking incorporates a variety of moves from different arts such as the backflip from gymnastics, 540 kick from Taekwondo, butterfly twist from Wushu and double leg from Capoeira. Tricking is recognizable by its flashy kicks, complex flips and twists, and its highly stylized movements which separate it from other arts. An individual who practices tricking is typically referred to as a "trickster" or "tricker".

Free Running

Free running is a form of urban acrobatics in which participants, known as free runners, use the city and rural landscape to perform movements through its structures. It adds aesthetic vaults and other acrobatics, such as tricking and street stunts, creating an athletic and aesthetically pleasing way of moving. It is commonly practiced at gymnasiums and in urban areas that are cluttered with obstacles.
